First Haircut

Well, we thought we could make it to his first birthday... but nope, this boy seriously needed a haircut! What do they say about a mullet - "business in the front, party in the back"... well, Evan had a party in the front and a party in the back! It was so long - he had these long pieces that would hang down in his face.... so off for a haircut!

Oh, the joy of the first haircut....

Evan - "this stinks, lady.... drop the scissors and back away!"

"Okay - this lady gave me a cool toy, maybe this isn't so bad?"

"No, it still stinks... the toy was just a distraction!"

"But - dern, I sure am handsome with my new do!!!"

Such a big boy -haircuts, whole milk, real food and running laps around the house! Oh, sweet Evan - we enjoy every moment of you.... I apologize in advance for the many haircuts to come!

The Force Is Strong With These Boys...

Thank you so very much to Aunt Tasha who invited us to this great event where Pottery Barn Kids had the Star Wars characters there to meet the kids! These boys love Star Wars! They were all Star Wars characters for Halloween last year, love Star Wars Legos, the Star Wars video game, toys, you name it! I didn't even tell Preston where we were going, but needless to say he was very excited when he saw these guys waiting!

Girls' Night at The Cutler Cinema

It was the second showing at what the girl's have called the "Cutler Cinema" - and we do like the movies at our house, so pretty appropriately titled! What a fun night with the girls - Paige, Jenni, Summer, Susan, Denise, Cathy, Tasha, Laura and Robbie and me! We watched a cute movie, "Made of Honor" this time around. Our first viewing was "Juno", which is such a great movie!

Then as girls do, we stayed up chatting waaaaay after the movie credits rolled. Thanks girls for your friendships - let's do it again in December maybe? But of course, you are all welcome anytime! Love you all! And thanks for always bringing "the corn", Jenni!
